How Do You Use AcceleDent?
AcceleDent is easy to use. All you need to do is attach the mouthpiece by plugging it into the activator and turn it on. You’ll know that the activator is on when the LED light is green. Place the device in your mouth, bite down on it firmly to hold it in place, and make sure that there is contact on all sides of the mouthpiece. Avoid biting forcibly on the mouthpiece to prevent excessive wear.
You’ll need to keep the device in for 20 minutes around the same time each day for the best results. With its hands-free action, you’ll find the use of AcceleDent convenient. Caring for Your AcelleDent Device
Make sure to keep your Acceledent device clean and charged. The LED indicator will flash orange when the activator needs recharging, which is usually about every three days. When the LED light turns green, the device is fully charged.
You’ll need to disconnect the mouthpiece from the activator to clean the appliance. Make sure you rinse the mouthpiece with lukewarm water after every use and gently clean it every once in a while with toothpaste, a mild dishwashing detergent, or a mild soap. You can also wipe down the activator with a soft cloth to clean it as necessary, but make sure you don’t get it wet or place it in a dishwasher because it is not waterproof.
